Four days of magical yoga with the Howgills as a backdrop; bespoke rambles, wild swims and barefoot walks guided by our local shepherdess … we are blessed with a secluded, unspoilt location and offer you the chance to enjoy it in restfully luxurious surroundings.
Living Yoga and Meditation Retreats with Radhika Vachani
20th – 24th September 2017
The Malabar is such a perfect place to practice yoga. Radhika Vachani, founder of the Yogacara Institute in Mumbai and a devoted student of the Iyengar School, will lead her very first UK retreat with us in 2017. Yoga and meditation will balance, ground and relax you. Guided walks will bring you at one with our stunning natural surroundings. Therapeutic massage will ease stress and strain. Three fresh and delicious yogic meals will be served each day. From £650 per person, full board.
Radhika runs Living Yoga Retreats in the Himalayas, Ladakh and Goa and can’t wait to add Sedbergh to her repertoire.
Alison O’Neill is a third generation hill farmer raising sheep, growing wool and working with tweed, our very own Shepherdess. Join Alison on unique and inspirational journeys into the Howgills; experience calming and uplifting barefoot walks and venture into wild, hidden valleys. We can arrange anything from a half-day adventure with Alison to a full itinerary for a group of friends and family. Return to The Malabar to relax and reflect on the day’s discoveries.
